Materials and Finish Housing: PES / PEI (glass-filled) Contacts: Beryllium Copper (BeCu) Plating: Gold over Nickel Series Description The IC299 Test Contactor Series is ideal for automated and manual testing of SOP, SSOP, TSOP and QFP packages in any conceivable pitch size. For your specific device testing application, every IC299 Test Contactor can be designed and manufactured with or without a cover, or as a Clamshell Socket (see outline dimensions). The IC299 Series is for the testing of high frequency SOP and QFP devices up to 10GHz. The IC299 contactors pick up gullwing shaped leads on specially designed Y-shaped contacts, which allow an inductance of less than 2nH. The customer must specify the number of contact pins, required pitch, all device parameters and any other special requirements. The final part number will be determined by Yamaichi.
