Thisissufficientoverdrivetoproducemaximumpowerbandwidth. -IN POWER SUPPLY PROTECTION Unidirectional zener diode transient suppressors are recommended as protectiononthesupplypins.SeeFigure2.Thezenersclamptransients FIGURE 2. Conditionswhichcancauseopencircuitsorpolarityreversalsoneitherpowersupplyrailshouldbeavoidedorprotectedagainst.Reversalsoropensonthenegativesupplyrailisknowntoinduceinputstagefailure.Unidirectional transzorbspreventthis,anditisdesirablethattheybebothelectricallyandphysicallyasclosetotheamplifieras possible. STABILITY ThePA92isexternallycompensatedandperformancecanbetailoredtotheapplication.Usethegraphsofsmall signalresponseandpowerresponseasaguide.ThecompensationcapacitorCCmustberatedat500Vworking voltage.AnNPOcapacitorisrecommended.ThecompensationnetworkCCRCmustbemountedcloselytotheamplifierpins4and5toavoidspuriousoscillation. QUIESCENT CURRENT REDUCTION Whenpin3(IQ)isshortedtopin5(CC2)theABbiasingoftheoutputstageisdisabled.Thislowersquiescentpower butalsoraisesdistortionsincetheoutputstageisthenclassCbiased.Theoutputstagebiascurrentisnominally setat1mA.Pin3maybeleftopenifnotused.
