EXPAND THE CAPABILITIES OF YOUR ENTERPRISE S T O R A G E E N V I R O N M E N T W I T H M U LT I P L E S A N C O N N E C T I O N S Designed for the most I/O intensive applications and for maximum connectivity of multiple storage subsystems, LSI Logic introduces the ITI7004G2-LC Quad PCI-to-Fibre Channel adapter. This adapter is designed with four, 2 Gbit Fibre Channel ports in a PCI short card form factor saving you valuable PCI slots and providing multiple direct connections for failover environments. The ITI7004G2-LC adapter is the highest density module in the industry with direct connectivity to up to four fibre loops. This allows you to connect to 126 devices on each loop for multiple storage subsystems connection. The ITI7004G2-LC supports switched fabric and direct attach loop topologies and supports all major operating systems. The ITI7004G2-LC hosts two of LSI Logic's LSIFC929, 2 Gbit controllers, the highest performance dual channel controller available on the market. This innovative controller incorporates LSI Logic's Fusion-MPT or maximum performance with minimum host overhead. Fusion-MPT technology utilizes three on-chip ARM processors achieving up to 66,000 I/O operations per second per chip, for a maximum of 132,000 I/Os per second for the adapter.
